Where to Park

🚗 Parking in Downtown Dahlonega

In addition to the 300+ free and convenient parking spaces on and around the Public Square, downtown Dahlonega offers several additional free parking lots just a short walk from your favorite spots:

  • Warwick Street Lots
    Two free parking lots are located on Warwick Street, between North Chestatee and North Park Streets.

  • Meaders & Choice Street Lot
    This third free lot is near the Dahlonega Visitor Center—great for first-time visitors looking to explore the Square.

  • UNG Parking Deck
    Located on the University of North Georgia campus (entrance next to The Smith House – 84 S. Chestatee Street), this shady parking deck is a fantastic free option after hours and on weekends:

    • Monday–Thursday: Free from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

    • Friday 5:30 p.m. through Monday 7:30 a.m.
      Available year-round and just a short stroll to the Square.
